“Dear Anandra, can I have my own mantra please. Can my mantra be for lots of sleep. I have a hard time falling asleep. And so I can take a nap if I’m tired.”

Yes Vida, and adults who are also anxious and tired. Here is one mantra you can sing, and one you can say silently when you don’t feel like singing. Love you. š
Looking for a mantra for sleep? Here's a simple mantra practice children and adults can do to help calm down and fall asleep! Counting sheep is great, but chanting the vibrational healing frequencies of Sanskrit mantras directly affects the nervous system to encourage a parasympathetic (rest digest repair) response. If you're curious more about how sound healing mantras work, you might want to either check out our training courses in mantra and nada yoga, or this blog post on the science of sound healing research.
You might also like this Sound Healing for Anxiety and Depression. Experience it as a sound bath, laying down and listening passively, or as a more active sound therapy, sitting up and doing the mantra and nada yoga chant practice along with us.
We do free sound baths and yoga of sound chant experiences regularly! Be sure to subscribe to our email newsletter to attend live! We can meet and talk in real time so you can ask questions about sound healing therapy from a mantra and nada yoga perspective.
If you're looking for training, our sound healing certification courses are all online, and we've got a ton of free training, continuing education courses, and full 200-300-500hr sound yoga teacher trainings!
